NORWOOD operates from several locations within Russia, with headquarters in Syktyvkar, the capital of the Komi republic. Other operating bases are in Puzla, Velsk and Troitsko-Pechorsk.
There are logging and sawmilling operations in Syktyvkar and Puzla, but in Kotlas, Velsk and Troitsko-Pechorsk sawn timber is bought, then sorted and graded for export. The company has logging contracts in the region, with considerable cutting rights. This timber is sold both locally and exported. NORWOOD’s operations in Russia employs about 400 people.
