Wellfare and Cultural Fund of Norvik is the main sponsor of a photo exhibitions that was opened yesterday at the University of Iceland. The exhibition of Convoys during the second world war and Iceland´s role in the history of the world will be opened from July 9 till 13. After that the exhibition will be moved to the Sjóminjasafnid, which is a museum of everything related to the sea.
The enclosed pictures are from the opening of the exhibition. The President of Iceland, Mr. Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, along with Audun Freyr Ingvarsson Director of Norvik Timber and elderly Russian and British seamen, and one Icelander.
