Noatun store and BYKO store in Selfoss were in bad shape aftera quake of up to 6,5 on Richter scale last week. Both stores experienced serious damages. A lot of merchandize was shaken down to the floor, all kinds of canisters of paint and liquid were broken. Store equipment and the building were slightly damaged. Employees and voluntaries helped to resstore the stores, but it did take some time until everything was in good order again. Since the big earthquake some smaller ones have followed.
